Obituary of Minnie Van Pelt

Lucille Van Pelt, age 93, of Middleburg, FL passed away on Friday, February 13, 2009 at her residence. She was born in Alma, GA on November 18, 1915. Lucille was raised in the Belleview area. She also resided in Jacksonville and Hialeah. Her most recent move was to Middleburg from Belleview two years ago. She met and married Terry L. Van Pelt and they remained married until his death in 1974. Lucille was a Catholic by faith. Her hobby and passion was gardening. She also loved to sew and crochet. She is survived by two brothers Carl and Mitchell Bland both of Middleburg; several nieces and nephews and a foster daughter Eleanor Harned Schilling of Middleburg. She will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Park in Ocala, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
