Obituary of Jeremy Smith

Jeremy Smith, 17, of Chiefland passed away Feb. 16, 2009 in Gainesville at Shands from injuries sustained in a car accident. He was born in Tampa and attended Chiefland schools. He is survived by his father, James Smith of Toledo, OH; his mother Janette Smith of Tampa; sisters Desire Smith and Nikki Smith, both of Tampa; brother James Smith of Toledo, OH; grandmother, Nancy Smith of Toledo, grandfather Gerald Eastman of Tampa; god father Dale Fernandez of Chiefland; aunts Niki Faster of Tampa and Cindy Puskar of Clearwater; cousin Nyssa Puskar of Clearwater and step sister, Lyndsey Smith of Wisconsin. He is preceded in death by his brother, Alex Smith. Memorial services will be Saturday, Feb. 21 at 2:00 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services with Rev. Kent Zimmermann officiating.
