Obituary of Clara Lindsey

LINDSEY, CLARA NELLIE Silver Springs - Clara Nellie Lindsey, 82, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009. She was born in Plant City, FL and was a member of Oakcrest Baptist Church and was a former volunteer for Hospice of Marion County. She was a retired waitress for the Ocala Elks Club. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Herman Lindsey and his wife Ella, brother-in-law, David McQuaig and his wife Barbara Nell, sister-in-law, Myrtle Miller, sister-in-law, Margaret Ann Booth, a number of nieces and nephews and close friends, Cindy Sparrow, Lou Edwards and Janice Newman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Milton Lindsey on Aug. 25, 2008. Funeral services will be Monday, Feb. 23, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Oakcrest Baptist Church with Rev. William D. Terrell officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday from 5-7 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala. Burial will be at Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Hospice of Marion County.
