Obituary of James Flynn

FLYNN, James E. Mr. James E. Flynn, 86, of Marion Oaks, died Monday, March 2, 2009, at his residence. A native of Oil City, Pennsylvania, he and his wife moved here in 1982, coming here from Farmington Hills, Michigan. Prior to retirement, he worked for 40 years as a quality control manager for General Electric. Mr. Flynn proudly served his county in WWII in the US Army. He was formerly active in the Knights of Columbus, and was a member of St. Jude Catholic Community in Marion Oaks. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dorothy, and his daughter Mary Lou Flynn of Canton, Michigan. Mr. Flynn will be interred in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 9695 SW 110th St., Ocala, is handling arrangements.
