Obituary of Mae Morda

Ocala - Mae K. (Maccario) Morda, 96, died on March 11, 2009 at TimberRidge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where she resided for the last four years with her family of loving friends and caregivers. Born and raised in Hoboken, New Jersey, she came to Ocala in 1995. She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Mae enjoyed traveling, crocheting, reading, crafts and was an avid Bingo player. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank, four brothers and one sister. She is survived by son Frank, daughter-in-law Gail, granddaughter Lindsay Lucas and husband Greg, great grandchildren Ashlyn and Blake Lucas all of Ocala, sister Sue Pizzimenti of North Grafton, MA, brother Joseph Maccario and wife Madelaine of Brooklyn NY together with 10 nieces and 10 nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Wednesday March 18 with a memorial service following at 4:00 PM at Hiers-Baxley TimberRidge Chapel, 9695 SW 110th St. Ocala, FL. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Harry-Anna Trust Fund, Florida Elks Children's Therapy Services, P.O. Box 49, Umatilla, FL 32794-0049.
