Obituary of Marijean Brown

Brown, Marijean Ocala - Marijean Brown, 83, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at the Estelle's Hospice House. Born in Macy, Indiana, she moved with her family in 1959 to Boynton Beach, Florida. She was a homemaker and a retired accountant. As an accountant she became Controller of the Overseas Service Corporation in West Palm Beach. After retiring she moved to Ocala in 1994 with her husband, Russell M. Brown, a retired educator. She is survived by her husband Russell M. Brown of Ocala; daughter LuAnn McCoy (Randy) of Ocala; brother John R. Rockey (Janet) of Georgetown, SC; and two grandchildren Jennifer Chatterton (Tylus) and Laurie McCoy. She was preceded in death by her son James A. Brown and her grandson Robert Randall McCoy. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Druid Hills Methodist Church, 1712 SE Lake Weir Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Boys & Girls Club of Ocala, 800 SW 12th Ave.,Ocala, FL 34471.
