Obituary of Raymond Peskar
Raymond A. Peskar, 79, passed away on March 23, 2009 at West Marion Community Hospital.
Mr. Peskar was born in Cleveland, Ohio and a retired manager of a retail grocery. Mr. Peskar was
an Army Veteran serving during the Korean conflict. He was a member of the Queen of Peace
Catholic Church in Ocala where he was Communion Minister. Mr. Peskar was also a member of KSKJ
St. Ann's Lodge 150, the Oak Run Bowling League, the Queen of Peace Bowling League, Merry Makers
Kitchen Band, and an avid bowler. Mr. Peskar is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Carol
Peskar of Ocala; two daughters, Darlene Hoffmann (Ken), of Brandenton, FL and Doreen Fast
(Richard) of Baltimore, OH, three sisters, Josephine Racin, Rosemary Germ Churma, both of Ohio
and Connie Skerl of Ocala; one brother, Tony Peskar (Elaine) of Ohio; and three grandsons, Brian
(Jamie) Fast and Scott Fast of Ohio and 1st Lt. Timothy Fast of Germany. Service will be held
Friday, March 27, 2009 at 10:45 AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, SR 200, Ocala with Father
O'Doherty officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, March 26, 2209 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at
