Obituary of Patrick DeNicola

Patrick J. DeNicola of Ocala, Fl passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2009. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 27, 1928. Mr. DeNicola is the son of the late Michael and Josephine DeNicola. He is/was the beloved father of Patrick S. DeNicola of Tampa, Michele Kenno of Rockville, MD and Gary J. DeNicola of Atlanta, GA, loving grandfather of Jane Marie Kane and Kristina Kenno of Rockville MD and beloved brother of Phyllis DeNicola of Queens, NY. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and predeceased by brothers Mario, Anthony and Samuel DeNicola . His Marriage to Angela Rienzo DeNicola ended in divorce. Mr. DeNicola was a Brick & Stone Mason and Home Builder by trade. Much of his talented work can still be appreciated in the form of stoops, patios, fireplaces and homes. He served in the US Army during WWII and was a Victory Medal recipient. As a music lover his hobbies included playing the guitar and organ and singing and dancing. A visitation for Mr. DeNicola will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2009, from 5:00 -7:00pm at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 3, 2009, 10:00am at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 5 SE 17th St, Ocala, FL. Interment with military honors will occur on Friday, April 2, 2009, 12:30pm at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
