Obituary of James Wessel

James Louis Wessel, 75, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2009 at New Horison Rehabilitation Center. He was retired as an Assistant Director for the Institute for social research, at the University of Michagan from 1969-1995. He wintered in The Villages, FL and spent summers at his residence in Pinckney, MI. He served in the U.S. Army. Beloved husband, father and grandfather, he is survived by his wife, Maxine Wessel, The Villages, sons; William (Lisa), Westland, MI, David (Caroline), Milford, daughters; Tarie(Mark) Sandgren, Cadillac, MI and Rebecca Wessel-Lengel, Brighton, MI, 8 great grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, sisters; Jean Silva, Pleasanton, CA and Catherine Boldt, Sacramento, CA.
