Obituary of Mattie Goss

Mattie Bell Goss, 90, of Fanning Springs, passed away April 16, 2009 in Gainesville. Born in Nashville, GA she has spent most of her life in this area. She worked for the Levy County School System in the lunchrooms and was also a homemaker. She was a member of the Hardeetown Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Rev. A. Joe Goss of Umatilla, grandsons, Jason Goss, Damon Goss, Kenyon Wilson and Robert Wilson, sister Patsy Underwood of Chiefland, brothers, Robert Mathis of Chiefland, James Mathis of Lakeland and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday, April 20 at 11:00 AM at Hardeetown Baptist Church with Rev. Travis Hudson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior the service at the church.
