Obituary of Evelyn Weddington

WEDDINGTON, EVELYN BEATRICE Anthony - Evelyn Beatrice Weddington, 85, passed away at her home, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 15, 2009. She was born in Belfry, KY and moved to Marion County in 1960. She was a retired cafeteria worker at Anthony Elementary and loved cooking. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Jane Blackburn of Plain City, OH, Patricia Hicks of Ocala, Daphne White of Lady Lake and Penny McKee of McIntosh, her sons, Donnie and Dickie Weddington, both of Anthony, her five grandchildren and her seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence B. Weddington and her daughter, Virginia W. Spears. Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala with Rosie Long and Tim Weddington officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 PM. Burial will be in Anthony Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make contributions to Hospice of Marion County.
