Obituary of Gladys Bailey

Gladys Tripp Bailey, 87, of Ocklawaha, FL passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2009. She was born in Gaskin, FL on April 11, 1922. Gladys was raised in Mascotte, FL. She met and married David Tripp and together they raised 3 children. Gladys and her husband owned and operated Tripp's Day Nursery in Apopka, FL for over 15 years. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of both Moss Bluff Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Ocklawaha. Gladys was a true homemaker. She loved birds and butterflies. Gladys is survived by her daughter Joy Calhoun; daughter Carolyn Grant; brother Raymond Wilkerson; sister Marcelle Wilkerson; sister Marie Russo; sister Pansy Broda; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband David Tripp, husband Wilbur Bailey and a son David Tripp.
