Obituary of Peter Fitzpatrick

FITZPATRICK, Peter M. Mr. Peter M. Fitzpatrick, 79, of Ocala, entered into Glory Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at Munroe Regional Medical Center. A native of Francesville, Indiana, he moved to this area in 1969, where he and his wife owned/operated the Vin-Mar Motel in Belleview for many years. Mr. Fitzpatrick proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was very involved in the community, having served as past president of the Belleview Lions Club; past president of the Ocala S.A.R., and was a member of the American Legion Post #284 in Belleview. Mr. Fitzpatrick was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church, served as an elder in the church, and was also active in the Lutheran Laymen's League. He is survived by his wife Tevis Fitzpatrick, daughter Jill G. Fitzpatrick, Windsor, California, and his sister Margaret Hough, Kouts Indiana.
