Obituary of Rocky Lastinger

Lastinger, Rocky Wayne Micanopy - Rocky Wayne Lastinger, 56, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2009 at his home. Born in Wauchula, Florida, he moved to the Marion County area in 1987. He owned his own company and sold insurance and was also a published author. He is survived by his spouse Lou Lastinger of Micanopy; son Stephan Lastinger of Florahome; sister Roxane Gerstrenberger of Santa Rosa Beach; brother Craig Lastinger of Arcadia; daughters Jennie Knecht, Kristy Dildine, Magina Gammons, and Shyann Gammons. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, May 22, 2009 at McIntosh Cemetery West, with Pastor Eric K. Benson officiating. Arrangements by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services - Ocala Chapel.
