Obituary of Elia Sapienza

The Villages, Elia J. Sapienza, 78,passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Mrs. Sapienza was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to The Villages from Rochester, New York in 2002. She was a retired supervisor for a telephone company; member of St. Mark The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church; and she enjoyed billiards, painting, playing cards, and time with her family. Survivors include her husband, Joseph, The Villages; two daughters, Donna Sapienza, Ocala, FL.; Lori A. Cerame, Hilton Head, S.C.; two sisters, Hilda Mulay; Norma O'Brien; both from Rochester, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.
