Obituary of Albert Picard
Albert E. Picard, age 75, of Ocala, FL passed away on Friday, May 22, 2009. He was born
in Jewett City, CT on October 21, 1933. Mr. Picard was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having
served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from the Central Intelligence Agency as an Intelligence
Officer after serving 28 years. Mr. Picard was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in
Ocala. He was a Free and Accepted Mason and held membership in both the Shriner's Club and
Scottish Rite Bodies. As a veteran he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Picard
was also a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and Elks Lodge. His hobbies included golfing
and operating Amateur Radio. What he enjoyed the most was family and holidays. He is survived by
his wife of 46 years Doris Picard; son Donald A. Picard and 3 grandchildren Lauren, Erika and
Casey. A memorial service celebrating Mr. Picard's life will be held at St. Paul's United
Methodist Church, 800 SE 41st Ave, Ocala, FL on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 1:00pm. In lieu of
flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Office of Development, 2900
