Obituary of Mary Wells

WELLS, MARY S. Ocala - Mary S. Wells, 76. passed away on Monday, May 25, 2009. She moved to Ocala in 1959 from Phenix City, AL and was a member of Faith Primitive Baptist Church. She was a retired operator for North Florida Telephone Co. and enjoyed country music, reading and crossword puzzles. She is survived by her husband, Rufus L. Wells of Ocala, her son, Alex T. Wells of Ocala, her granddaughters, Stephanie, Amy, Rachellyn and Alexis and an adopted son, Tony Knighten of Ocala. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Faith Primitive Baptist Church, 2102 NW 1st Avenue, with Elder Perry Terrell and Elder W.C. Lane officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala. Those who wish may make contributions to Hospice of Marion County.
