Obituary of Clinton Nichols

Clinton McAlvin Nichols, age 75, of Ocala, FL passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2009. He was born in Dade City, FL on August 13, 1933. Clinton was raised in Marion County. He enlisted into the U.S. Army and served for 21 years. He was a Protestant and was a member of the American Legion. His hobbies included fishing, woodworking, camping and reading. Mr. Nichols is survived by his wife of 26 years Barbara Anne Hattaway Nichols; sons Al and Randy Nichols; step daughters Lydia McDaniel, Robin White and Carla Hardee; step sons Kerry Clever and Jesse Kyser; brothers Clifton and Leon Nichols; 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 2:00 pm.
