Obituary of Robert Bailey

Robert James Bailey, 73, passed away at Emeritus at Ocala West Senior Living on June 7, 2009. Mr. Bailey was born in Atchison, KS. He moved from Charlestown, WV to Florida in 1992. Mr. Bailey was a Senior Chief Electrician in the United States Navy serving during the Korean and Vietnam wars. He served as Minister of the Sick at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ocala and was founding member of the 11th Hour - Hospice at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. He is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Griffith of Deatsville, AL; son, Sean Bailey of Limestone, TN; two brothers, Ed Bailey of Topeka, KS and Gary Bailey of Atchison, KS; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Bailey was predeceased by his loving wife of 53 years, Dolores Bailey. Service will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church on Monday, June 15, 2009 at 8:30 AM with Father O'Doherty officiating. Condolences may be posted to hiers-baxley.com.
