Obituary of Jose Lopez
Jose Jochi Ivan Lopez, 52, passed away on June 8, 2009. Jochi was a man who worked hard,
played hard and loved all. He was loving, understanding, forgiving and above all caring. His home
was open to all who wanted and/or needed to stay. His welcoming words were always No te preocupes
estas en tu casa, ˜Mete hand en confianza que lo que hay aqui es tuyo. Translation:
Don't worry you're in your house, dig in with confidence (help yourself to
anything) that whatever is here is yours. He was always willing to lend a hand. And when it was
time to go somewhere it was always cuando tu quieras nos montamos en el carro y malet and go, no
questions asked. Translation: Whenever you decide we'll get in the car and go. He may
have grown up with only one brother and one sister, but when he married Anita 18 years ago, he
instantly became a big brother, uncle, friend, and mentor to her three sisters and the entire
family. He is survived by his loving wife, Anita, their son, Bryan and twin girls, Dorian and
Karen. He is also survived by his mother, brother, sister and the entire Vazquez family he so
lovingly joined 18 years ago when he said I do. Jochi, we will always love you. We will honor
your memory and never ever forget you. Rest in peace. Condolences may be posted to
