Mrs. Evelyn I. Haas, 87, of Leesburg, passed away, Sunday, June 14, 2009 at The Sterling House in Leesburg, FL. She was born in Buffalo, New York and was a homemaker. She moved to Leesburg from Ocala 4 years ago, and loved to crochet. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Haas, in 2004. She is survived by a daughter, Jane (David) Roerink, Leesburg, FL, 2 brothers, John Matchulat, Southern Pines, NC, and Layton Matchulat, Oil City, PA, 3 grandchildren, Chad Roerink, Justin Roerink, Megan Roerink, 2 great grandchildren, Will Roerink and Ethan Roerink.
