Obituary of Richard Kocab

Richard John Kocab, 72, passed away on June 21, 2009. Mr. Kocab was born in Cleveland, Ohio to John and Mary (Kovach) Kocab. Mr. Kocab was a Mechanical Engineer graduating from Case Institute of Technology in 1960. Mr. Kocab was the Owner of Controlled Environmental Systems of Cleveland, OH. He enjoyed sailboating, darting, fishing and being on the water. He later retired to Florida in 1987. He was Catholic by faith. He leaves behind his loving wife Patti (Hinkle) Kocab of Ocala, FL; one son, Mark Kocab of Cleveland, OH; two daughters, Brooke Kocab and Robin Reddick, both of Cleveland, OH; two sisters, Marilyn O'Donnell of Cleveland, OH and Joan Wetherell of San Diego, CA; Four grandchildren, Ariana Kocab, Casey & Jessica Reddick and Mary Grace Kocab, all of Cleveland, OH. Mr. Kocab is predeceased by his brother, Norman Kocab. Visitation will be Thursday, June 25, 2009 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 3:30 PM at Hiers-Baxley TimberRidge Chapel, 9695 SW 110th St., Ocala. The Kocab family requests memorials be made in Richard's name to Hospice of Marion County P.O. Box 4860 Ocala, Fl. 34478-4860.
