Obituary of Christine Rios

Mrs. Christine Rios, 72, of Ocala, died Monday, July 6, 2009 at her residence. A native of Miami, she moved to Ocala in 1974. Prior to her retirement, she was a member of the administrative staff at South Atlantic News for many years. Many of her friends remember her from her golf outings at the Baseline Golf Course. She was of the Greek Orthodox faith. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Rios Johnson, Quebeck, TN, sons Ramon F. Rios, Jr. of Bradenton, FL and Michael R. Rios of Marietta, GA, sister Irene Karcher and brother Harry Athalis, both of Port St. Lucie, FL, and her soul mate and companion, Charles E. Brown. Mrs. Rios was preceded in death by her husband Ramon F. Rios, Sr., and her sisters Ann Benson, Venus Poulos, Charlotte Miller, and Helen Kahill.
