Obituary of Preston Huddleson
Huddleson, Preston, 84 Huddleson, Preston 84, of Ocala, Fl. passed away Thursday, July
9, 2009 at Palm Garden Nursing Home of Ocala. Mr. Huddleson was the son of Viola Huddleson of
Norton, N.J. Preston was a retired Oil Burner Technician in the Heating Service. Mr. Huddleson
was a veteran of W.W. II serving in the U.S. Navy on the USS Weber. Mr. Huddleson was a Charter
member of the Lebanon Township Volunteer Fire Dept in New Jersey with 29 years of service. He
also was a member of the Angela Santos VFW Post 4781 of Ocala. Preston moved to Ocala in 1990
from Califon, N.J. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Ruth (Dilts) Huddleson of Ocala;
3 daughters Peggy Buck and husband Ron of Easton, Pa; Barbara Cecchini and husband Peter of
Stockton, N.J.; Nancy Linzer and husband David of Milford, N.J.; 5 Grandchildren and 4 Great
Grandchildren. Funeral Service for Mr. Huddleson will be Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at 11:00 AM with
viewing 1 hour prior at Hiers-Baxley TimberRidge Chapel 9695 S.W. 110th St. with Chaplain Warren
Thompson officiating. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery Bushnell, Fl. with Military
Honors provided by Angela Santos Post #4781 of Ocala. Memorials may be made to the Angela Santos
Post P.O. Box 4781 of Ocala, or Lebanon Township Volunteer Fire Dept. Glen Gardner, N.J.
