Obituary of Arlene Perry
Arlene Anne O'Donnell-Perry, 73, died July 23, 2009 at Sylvia's Hospice House, Ocala.
Arlene was born in Yonkers, NY where she started her postal career and lived until moving to
Ocala in 1972. She had worked for the Ocala and Belleview post offices before becoming the
Postmaster at the Morriston, FL post office from 1983-1998, a member of the National Association
of Postmasters, NAPUS, an avid Gator fan, a devoted grandmother and member of Our Lady Of The
Springs Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband Rodney Perry; daughter Kerry Austin of
Irmo, SC; sons, Robert O'Donnell of Kennesaw, GA and Patrick O'Donnell of Jacksonville, FL;
grandchildren, Christopher O'Donnell, Ryan O'Donnell, Sean O'Donnell, Casey Austin, Dillon
Austin, Bailey Austin, Ana O'Donnell, Erin O'Donnell and adoring aunt to many nieces and nephews
. Mrs. Perry was pre-deceased by her first husband, Robert Emmett O'Donnell, Sr.; parents, James
Qualters and Charlotte Leonard Qualters; and sister Kathleen Demers.
