Obituary of Joshua A. McBryde

McBryde, Joshua Alan Ocala - Joshua A. McBryde, 23, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2009. Born in Wichita Falls, TX he moved to Ocala in 1999. He worked as a heavy equipment operator. He served in two tours with the United States Marine Corps in Iraq. He was an active member of Central Church of Christ in Ocala. He is survived by his wife Heather McBryde of Ocala; father Randall A. McBryde (Julie) of Tallahassee; mother Denise Emerson (Bill) of Ocala; sisters Brittany Williams of Ocala and Jamie McBryde of Tallahassee; grandmother Ora Lee McBryde of Arkansas; grandmother Theresa Meads of Texas; step-brothers Brent and Tyler Gann of Texas; and step-sisters Lyndan and Leah Gann of Tallahassee. A visitation will be held from 4 - 6 pm on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services - Ocala Chapel, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 6:30 PM at the Central Church of Christ, 4200 E Silver Springs Blvd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made at any Alarion Bank or mailed to Alarion Bank, 2510 SE Maricamp Road Ocala, FL 34471. Checks must be made payable to "Heather McBryde" and indicate Joshua Memorial Fund - Account # 130001142.
