Obituary of Brenda Land

Land, Brenda Joyce Ocala-Brenda Joyce Land, 64, passed away at home on July 27, 2009. She was born in Bonifay, Florida and moved here from Ft. Bennning, GA in 1971. She was a homemaker and became a master seamstress. She was a member of Ft. Douglas Baptist Church where she was the Sunday School superintendent. She is survived by her husband Bobby Land, Sr. of Ocala; daughters, Lynette McEarchern, Sheila Hewett, and Lisa McGreal all of Ocala; son, Bobby Land, Jr. of Ocala; sisters, Charlotte Skipper of Dothan, AL, and Sharon Day of Tallahassee, FL; brother Jimmy Lee of High Springs, FL; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. A Memorial Service will be held at Ft. Douglas Baptist Church, 2790 SW 87th Place, Ocala, FL on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Richard Baldwin officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be given to the building fund at Ft. Douglas Baptist Church in memory of Brenda Land.
