Obituary of Mary E. Montgomery

Mary E. Montgomery, 95, of Chiefland, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2009 at Haven Hospice of the TriCounties. Mrs. Montgomery was born in Missouri on December 28, 1913. She was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling. She was a former member of the Eastern Star. Her enjoyment in life was raising her children. She is survived by her children, Jannie and James Bicknell, Alan Ray Jesk, Jimmy Dale Jesk, brothers Don Lillard, Joe Lillard and Lowell Lillard. Three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Montgomery, Son Thomas Wimberly and a sister, Ann Murrell. Visitation will be on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 10 am at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services in Chiefland and services will be at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Chiefland Cemetery.
