Obituary of Kenneth Wilford Causseaux
Causseaux, Kenneth Wilford "Wil" Altamonte Springs-Kenneth Wilford "Wil" Causseaux, 72,
passed away on July 30, 2009 of natural causes. He loved life and not a day went by that he
didn't touch someone's life. He was born in Otter Creek, FL on August 10, 1936. Wil was a
hydrologist with the US Geological Survey for 35 years and continued his career as a stormwater
engineer with St. John's River Water Management. He loved working and was a dedicated employee.
Wil was a veteran of the US Army. He was a graduate of UF and an avid gator fan. He was preceded
in death by his parents Sim and Decemia Causseaux; siblings Marion Palen, Mary Dixon, Jessie
Causseaux, Flouris Bass, and Edith Bass. He is survived by his companion and best friend, Peggie
Gavigan and Tricia Bercik, the mother of his children; two daughters, Kimbra Almerico (Richard),
Land O Lakes, FL and Janna Fackler (Joe), Atlanta, GA; one son, Greg Causseaux, Jacksonville, FL;
sisters, Melva Holt, Crestview, FL, Annette Horne, Anthony, FL, Jeannette Koontz, Ocala, FL, and
Lugene Causseaux, Orlando, FL; two brothers, Cass Causseaux (Phyllis), Glenwood, FL, and Don
Causseaux (Karen), Osteen, FL; and five grandchildren Brittany, Alexis, Kailey, Michael, and Mia
(JJ). Funeral Services will be Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Life Tabernacle with his
nephew Rev. Wade Bass officiating. Visitation will be Monday, August 3, 2009 from 6 pm -8 pm at
Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Ocala Chapel, 910 E Silver Springs Blvd. In his memory, memorial
contributions can be made to Autism Speaks of Georgia. He will be greatly missed.
