Obituary of Sylvester Lawes

Ocala-Sylvester Lawes, 80 We regret to announce the passing of Sylvester Lawes (Chappy) of Ocala, Florida. Chappy died at the age of 80 at the Munroe Regional Medical Center on August 1, 2009. Funeral service for the late Sylvester Lawes will be held at the Silver Springs Seventh Day Adventist Church on Sunday, August 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. There will be a viewing at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home at 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala on Friday, August 7, at 5:00 p.m. Chappy is survived by devoted wife Jasmine (Hopie), 5 children, Desmond, Elaine, Sharon, Donnett and Donavon, 5 step children, 23 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn a host of other relatives and friends. Burial will follow the church service at the Highland Memorial Park.
