Obituary of Hazel B. Howell

Summerfield â€" Hazel B. Howell, 99, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at Munroe Regional Medical Center. Born in Gulfport, MS in 1910, she moved to Summerfield in 1982. She worked as a cafeteria manager for Avon Park Elementary School for 30 years. While in Avon Park she was a member of First Baptist Church of Avon Park for many years. She was currently a member of First Baptist Church of Summerfield. She is survived by her son James Howell (Sharon) of Jackson, GA; daughters Kathryn Moore of Houston, TX and Elizabeth McFarland of Summerfield; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel O. Howell.
