Obituary of Edwin Albert Long

Ocala â€" Edwin Albert Long, 68, died at Kindred Hospital, Ocala on August 11, 2009. He was born in Wauchula, FL and was a lifetime resident of Florida. He has a PHD in Clinical Laboratory Administration/Direction. Mr. Long was a member of Druid Hills United Methodist Church, Ocala where he was, a certified Lay Speaker for the United Methodist Church, served on numerous boards in the Methodist church, Sunday School teacher, active in the Bible ministry and Sisterhood Ministries, and was Sight Conservation Chairman in the Lake Weir Lions Club. He is survived by his son, Keith Atlee (Shannon) Long, Moss Bluff, FL; sisters, Cyndee (Ed) Arnett, Lakeland, FL, Ann (Dwight) Grimes, Lakeland, FL; several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife, Mary Frances Long.
