Obituary of Brett Anthony Steward

Ocala - Brett Anthony Steward, 17, died at Shands at the University of Florida August 18, 2009. He was born in Gainesville, FL and was a lifetime resident of Ocala. Brett attended Forest High School where he was involved in the butterfly garden. He enjoyed going to Boggy Creek Gang Camp in Eustis. He is survived by his mother, Shannon Hogan, Ocala; father, Jay Steward, Iowa, stepfather, Russell Hogan, Ocala; sister, Amanda Steward, McKinney, TX; brothers, Sean Steward, Nicholas Hogan, both of Ocala; maternal grandmother, Janice Bloom, Summerfield; paternal grandmother, Nancy Steward, Iowa; maternal great-grandmother, Hannah Arlene Owens, Clarks Summit, PA; step- grandparents, Mitchell and LaDonna Talenda, Weirsdale, Russell “Sam” and Nancy Hogan, Citra; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
