Obituary of Audrey Williamson

Audrey M. Williamson, age 82, of Ocala passed away on August 21, 2009. She was born in McVeigh, KY on November 28, 1926. Audrey met and married the love of her life George and they were married on December 18, 1948. Together they raised two children and were married for 60 years. She worked throughout her life as a homemaker and also various jobs including waitressing and hairdressing. She enjoyed bowling and was very active in church ministry. She is survived by a son Greg Williamson and his wife Judy of Silver Springs, FL; daughter Kay Charette and her husband Clyde of Naples, FL; 4 grandchildren Tom, Lee Ann, Matt and Marc; and 4 great grandchildren Justin, Ryanna, Brock and Cole. She is also survived by brothers Paul and David Thacker; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala on Monday, August 31, 2009 at 10:00am. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 9:00am until the time of the service.
