Obituary of Irene Tye

Irene S. Tye, 62, of The Villages, passed away Friday, August 21, 2009 at The Villages Hospice House. She was born in Redding, PA and moved to The Villages from Nashville, TN in 1999. She was a member of The New Covenant United Methodist Church; Kentucky Connection; The Show Time Singers.She worked as an administrator for the Blinded Veterans Affairs. Irene loved to sing, dance, golf and travel. She is survived by 2 step daughters, Deborah (David Milton) Carpenter, Bera, KY and Leslie (Andy) Hall, Ashville, OH and a step son, Thomas (Kan-Yen) Tye, San Diego, CA., 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
