Obituary of Frances Sheffield

Frances Evans Sheffield, age 66, of Ocala, FL passed away on Monday, August 24, 2009. She was born in Ocala on July 28, 1943. Mrs. Sheffield was a lifelong resident of Ocala. She met and married Oliver Sheffield on June 14, 1970 and together they raised four children. Mrs. Sheffield was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith. Her hobbies included hunting, fishing, collecting animal figurines and antiques. She is survived by her husband Oliver Sheffield; son Charles Price; son David Sheffield; son Michael Sheffield; daughter Cindy Sheffield; sister Shirley Pippin; brother Shadrack Evans, Jr.; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala on Thursday, August 27, 2009 at 2:00pm. A visitation will take place at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00pm until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the donors charity of choice.
