Obituary of Charles Keirnan

KEIRNAN, CHARLES E. Ocala - Charles E. Keirnan, age 79, passed away on Aug. 26, 2009 at Legacy Hospice House. He was born in Cleveland, OH on July 29, 1930. He was a proud Korean War veteran who loved his family and his country. He is survived by his wife, Nancy, his son Craig, his daughter, Debbie and his brother James Keirnan of Ocala. He was a longtime resident of Ocala, where he was very active in local Veteran's groups and the local Republican Club. He enjoyed travel, sports and being with his grandchildren. He attended First United Methodist Church of Ocala. There will be a viewing at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2009 from 2-4 PM with a service following the visitation. Interment will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL the following day.
