Obituary of Donald J. Maycher

Donald J. Maycher, 78, of The Villages, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2009 at The Villages Hospice House. He was born in Joliet, Ill., and retired as a General Superintedent for Northwestern Steel and Wire Company, and worked in sales for SGL Carbon. Mr. Maycher served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He attended St. Timothy Catholic Church and was a member of American Legion Post 347. He is survived by his wife Corrine, 2 sons, Gary M. (Toni) Maycher, Wichita, KS, and Timothy (Sue) Maycher, Roswell, GA., 1 daughter, Mary Patricia (Ryan) Hodges, Norcross, GA, 5 grandchildren, Justin, Nicole, Alex, Wyatt, and Owen.
