Obituary of Patricia Austin-Adams

Austin-Adams, Patricia, 73, of Ocala passed away on August 28, 2009. Moved here from Anderson, SC in 1991. Patricia was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church and a member of the choir. Survivors included her husband William Adams of Ocala; sister Dorothy Lowe of Kenner, LA, Marilyn Tacktill (Murray) of Fort Meyers, FL. Children, son, Dr. Robert Austin (Kristy) of Belton, SC, daughters Gayle Austin-Whitfield (Jerry) of Belton, SC; Laura Rivera (Ivan) of Ocala, FL; step daughter Patricia Schmidt (Charlie) of Long Island, NY. 9 Grandchildren. 3 Great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by 1st husband Robert J. Austin, mother Mary E. (Zwisler) Lowe and father Alfred M. Lowe. In lieu of flowers family request memorial contributions go to Cancer Assoc. of Anderson, 215, E. Calhoun ST, Anderson, SC 29621 or may give to daughter Gayle Austin-Whitfield. Funeral services will be held at St. John Lutheran Church on Tuesday at 1PM with Pastor Richard Lineberger officiating. Visitation will be at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala on Monday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm and Tuesday from 11am to noon. Family would like to thank all of her friends and also those at Lorenzo's Kucina and Aunt Fannie's during this time.
