Obituary of Gordon Wraight

Lady Lake - Gordon L. Wraight, 84, died Saturday, Augugst 29, 2009. Mr. Wraight was born in Prattsburg, NY and moved from Zephyrhills in 2007, winter resident of Florida, spending summers in Avoca, NY since 1978. He was a retired owner/operator of a dairy farm. He was of Methodist faith; favorite music was Blue Grass and attending concerts; he enjopyed RV camping; traveling in Canada; playing bingo; and was a frequent weekly visitor to Busch Gardens in Tampa; member of the New York Farm Bureau; The Grange; and Dairylea co-op in New York. Survivors include his wife, Helen Nettie Wraight, Lady Lake; four daughters, Janice (Tad) Thompson, The Villages; Catherine (Ellwood) Bear, Citrus Heights, CA; Mary (Larry) Compton, Albuquerque, NM; Sally (Chris) Duda, Collegeville, PA; nine grandchhildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mr. Wraight was preceaded in death by a son, Stanley.
