Obituary of Kenneth Gilmore

Kenneth Gillespie Gilmore, 85, passed away at Legacy House on August 30, 2009. Mr. Gilmore was born in Hartford, VT. He moved from Meriden, CT to Florida in 1984. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Gilmore was of Methodist faith. He was a retired electrician with General Motors; and a member of the On Top Of the World Men's Golf Association. Mr. Gilmore is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Jean Gilmore of Ocala; one daughter, Sandra H. Tedeschi of Vienna, VA; a step-daughter Georgine M. Clark of Meriden, CT; one sister Eleanor Grieco of Ocala, FL; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Memorial Service will be Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Hiers-Baxley TimberRidge Chapel, 9695 S.W. 110th St., Ocala, FL with Rev. Jack Cushman officiating. Inurnment will follow at Florida National Cemetery Bushnell, Fl. with Military Honors provided by Angela Santos Post #4781 of Ocala.
