Obituary of Anthony John Amodio
Mr. Anthony " Tony" Amodio of Bronson, FL, passed away on Tuesday September 1, 2009 at
the age of 68. He was born on March 27, 1941 in Hartford, CT. He was preceded in death by his
father, Antonio Amodio and his mother Stanislava Chenoski. Tony proudly served in the US NAVY
from 1959-1964 aboard the USS Conway, Norfolk, VA . He and his family moved to Bronson in 1981.
He continued his government service for 23 years where he retired from the Malcolm Randal
Veteran's Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather and
friend. His favorite pastimes were enjoying his family, Florida's fine fishing, and vacationing
in the Florida Keys. He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his wife, Lora Amodio of Bronson,
FL, son Anthony Amodio, Jr., daughter Holly Amodio-Barr and son in-law Brice Barr of Key West,
FL, daughters Jessica David of Bronson, FL, Jenna David of Henderson, KY, Lisa Stoldoski-Finnegan
of Stratford, CT, grandchildren Heather and Anthony Amodio, III of Port St. Lucie, FL, Joey
Finnegan of Stratford, CT, and Noah Gray of Bronson, FL, siblings Lucy and Joe Whiteman, Stella
and Richard Hundertmark, and Sally Amodio, and cousins Joey and Lucy Ciarcia of Jacksonville, FL.
