Obituary of Paul Rogers
Paul Rogers, 36 of Brusly, LA passed away Sept 4, 2009 from injuries he received as a
result of a motorcycle accident. Born in Gainesville he had been in LA for about a year. He was a
graduate of Williston Christian Academy. He had a heavyweight title in kickboxing and enjoyed
Martial Arts. In Louisiana he worked refurbishing oil rigs. He previously worked as a Levy County
Reserve Deputy and volunteer firefighter with Chiefland Fire and then with the Williston Police
Dept. He was well known in this area as a country and western singer. He enjoyed deep sea
fishing, love Labradors and was a GATOR Fan. He was a loving Uncle, Son, Brother, Friend who will
be missed by all. He is survived by his parents, Donald and Heather Rogers of Chiefland,
brothers, Dale (Rhonda) Towle of Rhindlander, WI, Carl (Carmen) Rogers and Timothy Rogers, both
of Chiefland, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a sister, Elvina Lucy
Rogers. Funeral Services will be Saturday, Sept 12, 2009 at 10:30 AM at Faith Baptist Tabernacle
of Williston with Pastors Richard Harding and Dale Towle officiating. Burial will follow the
service at the Ellzey Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, Sept 11 from 6:00 â€" 8:00 PM at the
