Obituary of Thomas Sherman

Thomas R. "Tom" Sherman, age 48, of Ocala, FL passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2009. He was born in Bedford, MA on September 16, 1960. He was raised in Massachusetts and moved to Florida in his early teens. Tom graduated from Dunnellon High School. He worked as a Supervisor for One Stop Painting and Flooring in Ocala for 12 years. Tom loved to hunt and fish. He loved nature. He was also an artist that painted and did wood burnings. He is survived by his wife Betty; son Ryan Sherman and his wife Nicole; brother John Sherman and his wife Ruth; sister Kim Sutkus and her husband Alan; sister Laurie Sherman; one grandson Zachary Robert Sherman; several nieces and nephews; and many great friends. A memorial service of celebration for Tom's life will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL on Friday, September 18, 2009 at 2:00pm. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home.
