Obituary of Blanche Crews

Blanche Harris Crews, age 83, of Ocala, FL passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2009. Her family lovingly referred to Blanche as "Granny" and "Momma". She was born in Dukes, FL on May 28, 1926 and moved to the Ocala area from Olustee, FL in 1962. Blanche was a Homemaker and a Baptist. Her hobbies included cooking, shopping, traveling and taking care of family. She is survived by a daughter Lois L. Williams; daughter Bobbie E. Crews; son Wayne E. Crews; daughter Linda D. Weaver; daughter Emma D. Lewis; son Roy R. Crews; sister Evelyn Dicks; 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL on Friday, September 11, 2009 from 6-8pm. A funeral service will be at the funeral home on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 10am. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Ocala.
