Obituary of Robert Eugene Pitts

Robert Eugene Pitts, 68, of Summerfield, FL, died at his residence Monday, September 14, 2009. He was born in Brookville, Pennsylvania and moved to this area from Alexandria, VA over 30 years ago. He was of Protestant faith and a carpenter. Mr. Pitts was a lifetime member of American Legion, VFW, NRA, and DAV. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Army and was a Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipient. He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Jurco, Middleburg, FL; son, Richard Eugene Pitts, Jeffersonton, VA; stepdaughters, Donna Harrah, Newport News, VA, Lorraine Carl, Smithfield, VA, Judy Ann Lawrence, Alexandria, VA and Cheryl Windsor, Kansas City, MO; sister, Helen Louise Radabugh, Enterprise, VA; many grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
