Obituary of Philip DiMaggio

The Villages - Philip J. DiMaggio, 92, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2009. Mr. DiMaggio was born in Collinsville, Illinois and moved to The Villages from Miami Springs, Florida nine years ago. He was a retired machinist in the aircraft industry; member of St Timothy Catholic Community; a member of the Italian-American Club of The Villages. He was an avid fan and enjoyed watching the New York Yankees, Miami Dolphins, and FSU football. As a hobby he enjoyed his Mr. fix-it projects. Survivors include his two daughters Laurie (Paul) Enander, The Villages; Lynn Brown, Ocala; brother, Joe DiMaggio, Ocala; and five grandchildren.
