Obituary of J. Gilbert Kaitis

J. Gilbert Kaitis J. Gilbert Kaitis, 92, died at his residence on Friday, September 18, 2009 in The Villages. He was born in Chicago, IL, and moved here from Glenview, IL. He was a retired production manager with a tool & die company. He was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church; a veteran of the US Army; enjoyed fishing, photography, gardening and playing bingo. He is survived by his wife, Frances Kaitis, of The Villages, Florida; his daughters, Chris Stape of The Villages, and Linda Amesse, of The Villages; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 8:30 am, Monday, September 21, 2009 at St. Timothy Catholic Church. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Service, The Villages, with Prayer Service at 6:00 PM.
