Obituary of Nestor Calero

CALERO, Nestor, Sr. Mr. Nestor Calero, Sr., 82, of Ocala, died Tuesday, September 22, 2009, at Ocala Regional Medical Center in Ocala. A native of Cuba, he moved to Ocala in 1979, coming here from Staten Island, New York. Mr. Calero retired 17 years ago as a painter with the Marion County School System. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Yara Calero, 3 daughters, 1 son, 1 brother, 2 sisters, 4 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from noon until 4 PM on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala.
