Obituary of John David Charcholla

John David Charcholla, 86, of Belleview, FL passed on September 29, 2009 at Oakhurst Rehab Center in Ocala, FL. John was born on October 26, 1922 in Rochester, NY. He was the son of John and Gertrude (Alexander) Charcholla. John is survived by his wife Gail; brother Rob Roy (Nancy) Charcholla; daughters, Cheryl (Chris) Scholand, Jacqueline Rohrbaugh, Jamie (Jay) Hill; stepdaughters, Jeanette (Michael) Deines, Jacqueline Moore; 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. John taught physical education at Spencerport Central School where he coached many sports. He officiated at the high school and college levels, and held office in national associations of soccer, basketball and baseball. John loyally served his country in the United States Marines during WW II and was recalled during the Korean War.
